INS GL 80.009: Compact inertial navigation system

(INS) GL 80.009 is a miniature, lightweight system based on closed-loop fiber-optic gyroscopes (FOG).

Key features:

  • High accuracy and output rate: A navigation solution rate of up to 1200 Hz enables use in high-precision stabilization and navigation tasks for autonomous platforms.
  • High integration: Easily integrated with GNSS, speed sensors (speed log), air data systems (ADS), or distance-travelled sensors.
  • All-weather reliability: Maintains operability at low temperatures down to –55°C.
  • Load resistance: The design provides additional mounting points in the center-of-mass plane for installation in shock mounts, ensuring resistance to high shock loads.
